On October 19, 2017, Georgetown University Department of Slavic Languages and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington, D.C. hosted Dr. Olga Topol, a curator at the Jozef Pilsudski Institute in London and a panelist at the NSA’s Center for Cryptologic History 2017 Symposium. Dr. Topol shared the fascinating story of Polish cryptologists who cracked Nazi Germany’s Enigma code and put together the Polish Enigma double.
