Iwona Sadowska Receives the Dorothy Brown Award for Excellence in Teaching

Iwona Sadowska, Assistant Teaching Professor and Director of Polish Studies, is the recipient of the 2015 Dorothy Brown Award. This award honors the work of Dorothy M. Brown, who served Georgetown University for over 35 years as a teacher and administrator. Each year on Georgetown Day, it is presented to an outstanding faculty member whose contributions demonstrate a strong commitment to the educational advancement of students. Professor Sadowska teaches Polish and Russian language, film, and literature and is the author of Polish: A Comprehensive Grammar (Routledge 2012).
